The Careers Guidance Team works in close cooperation with tertiary institutions and organizations. We hold a variety of programmes both inside and outside school in order to raise students' awareness of career planning.
The focus of career planning in the junior form is to help students recognize their interests and talents through different assessment tools and visits. Therefore, students can broaden their horizons and realize the relationship between subject selection and future careers. They can participate in seminars and visits, join taster programs and interact with panel heads and senior form students so as to understand the requirements of further studies.
For senior form career planning, students have diverse experiences in the workplace by visiting tertiary institutions, commercial sectors, government departments and non-governmental organizations. They get immense opportunities to participate in activities and learn from the professionals. The Careers Guidance Team also offers guidance on local and international studies, holds study tours and arranges career talks with a view to cultivating students’ interests and talents through various activities.
